Fused

The Forum’s late night FUSED Club, which once again provides a great mixture of music over 4 rooms. There is no door charge for the club and all drinks are at pub prices all night with loads of drink specials as well, to lighten the load on your pocket.

The FUSED line-up this week is as follows:

VENUE – Rock N Roll Cinema presents “Stop Making Sense” (see details below) plus DJ Wez.
SMOKIN  -  Lorcan Reidy hosts our Acoustic Jam session in the smoking area with guests and an open mic session.
BOX  -  A techno takeover with OH! FIVE ONE residents Myler and Sean Quinn.
BAR – Retro Boho tunes with DJs Clarky & Mick

Rolling Stone magazine named Talking Head’s “Stop Making Sense” as “the greatest concert movie ever made”, and when it was first shown in Dublin’s Ambassador Cinema in 1986, it sold out for 20 weekends in a row and transformed the cinema into a disco, with all 500 patrons up dancing by the second song of this legendary recording of Talking Head’s live set. On Saturday night the full length concert movie will be shown on the Forum’s giant screen and the soundtrack played through the Forum’s live PA system. There are 2 advantages to watching this great movie at The Forum, its FREE entry and you can have a drink (or 4) while getting down to the fabulously funky sound of Talking Heads. The movie will commence at 11.30pm with “Psycho Killer” and will end in a glorious climax of “Crosseyed and Painless” 90 minutes later.
