A legend in her own right, Karan Casey has long been one of the most innovative and provocative voices in Irish trad and folk music. Her career has spanned twenty years, from her early days as a jazz singer in Dublin, to the heady days in New York with her band Solas and her now blossoming solo career. She has sold over half a million albums worldwide. She will perform with Buille, a band whose traditional music borrows freely from jazz, blues, Eastern European and contemporary classical music.'Buille is as fresh a breath that’s blown through traditional (and roots) circles in a long, long time' - Siobhán Long (Irish Times ****)

The touring cast features Niall Vallely on concertina, Graham Hendeson on piano, Sean Og Graham on guitar, Kenneth Edge on saxophone, Karan Casey on vocals and the incredible dancing feet of Nic Gareiss. This tour is called ‘Junctions’ and will feature music conceived from sources as diverse as Steve Reich and Joe Zawinul with the odd jig and reel as well for some balance!
